"Stumbled upon this absolute gem on a random Sunday, while visiting Pleasanton! Thankfully, we came in just before the lunch rush and got a table and service was very fast as well. There is ample parking outside. Interior is clean, chic and inviting. There is some outdoor seating as well. You order at the counter and the server will get your order to the table."

"I have extremely high standards and so when I take the time to leave a review, it's because something went very wrong, or very right. I'm pleased to say that with this experience, everything went very right. The owner and her husband Ali are so incredibly kind. They go out of their way to accommodate you, check on you, offer you cups of tea, and etc. the food is fresh, tasty, perfectly cooked, and high grade. The tables are clean, the ambiance is pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We look forward to coming again.

"Visiting family in Pleasanton and was craving some chicken kebabs. Boy oh boy did Yelp lead me to the right spot. The #7 kebab plate was absolutely wonderful. Chicken so tender and full of flavor. Side salad and rice YUM!! I will be back for sure. Best I've had in this area by a long shot."

"My boyfriend and I went to Pleasanton over the weekend to run some errands and was craving something new. We decided to try Truva and it was an amazing spot to stumble upon. The food was so flavorful and the portion was plenty! We ordered the combination plate and Manti to share together. The combination was a perfect choice for us as it was our first time there so we were able to try everything. It seemed like the owner or man at the front was informing us he likes the beef and lamb but the chicken is very popular, and honestly all the meats were so good. Sometimes it's hard to find a good lamb, and moist chicken and this is the place to find both. The beef, lamb, and chicken was wonderful. The Manti was also good to eat and filling, they're like little wontons filled with ground beef with spice and a yogurt and butter sauce."

"Dog friendly outside, and absolute delicious food and friendly service. Ample parking (it's in a strip mall) and The menu has delicious options, the food is fresh and well seasoned. We were little piggies and ate it all - we had combo plates, gyros, a sampler app plate, and extra pita. Ok, we were hungry, but still - a TON of food and it came out so fast. The rice and kebabs are also worth it - the lamb is delicious. We sat outside due to our furry companion, but the owner came out to chat with us for a while, and also brought us complimentary rose Turkish delight, which was incredible. It's counter service, so no frills, but definitely worth a trip because the food is beyond expectations."

"Need to grab a quick bite to eat? Come here! Need a place to have a nice little sit down lunch? Come here! The service was quick and the food was spectacular!! We ordered the combo meal to share with an extra order of rice, and it was more than enough for us. The salad it came with was very refreshing and the dressing was sooo good! All the meat on the combo were flavorful and tender! I'm not a judge fan of lamb but this was cooked to perfection and so delicious. Only thing is their "pita" bread isn't really pita bread, more like regular bread but still fresh and good! Hummus also was good, and I am not a big on hummus!"

"Tried this place for the first time last week from door dash delivery, and guess what? i'm ordering again this week! it's good quality food. This place has the best hummus i've ever had in my entire life. it's perfect so i ordered this again and also repeated the rice pudding dessert. The Moussaka was quite a homey comforting meal. I just wish a was given more rice to enjoy it with. It comes with a scoop of rice, hummus, and salad. it's a big portion so i had some leftovers for lunch the next day. I'm currently waiting for my order from UberEats and today I'm trying the Adana kebab plate which i'm sure will be yum."

"Great, authentic food! Came here on a weekday for dinner. Ample parking as it's in a shopping complex and both indoor/outdoor seating are available. We ordered at the counter and ended up going with the meat and veggie plates. The food came out quickly and presentation was well done! The food itself was delicious and tasted very authentic. My favorites were the variety of dips. Each were great in flavor in their own way. The meat was cooked very well with the chicken being our favorite. The owner came out and talked to us. He mentioned he was from Turkey and was excited to bring his cooking here. We could tell! All around great spot with great food and customer service!"

"Probably best in the west. I had a chance to try multiple different Turkish restaurants. I was definitely looking for this for a while. I have never eaten a turkish doner like in Turkey. You should definitely go check it out if you're looking for the same taste as the one in Turkey. Little pricey but definitely worth it. Restaurant was pretty big and definitely enough space for families. Service was quick and they also have Turkish tea which you can drink right after you filled your tummy with delicious turkish doner."

"My first visit to this Mediterranean Grill restaurant thanks to Yelp reviews and found this place to be fantastic! The owners and staff were very nice, friendly and made suggestion that they thought I would like from the menu. The prices were reasonable, service was quick and pay before you sit to eat, and the food was brought to the table. The quality and quantity of food amount you receive was adequate, flavorful and chicken Kabo was very tender. The food itself was delicious and tasted very authentic to the Bay Area. I will be back for more!"

"SO good! Truva is a go-to every time we're back in town. It's easy to order ahead and pick up so we don't have to wait. There's not much of a dine-in area but we do see people sitting outside. The hummus is a must! I love the beef & lamb gyro. The lamb kebab is delicious but pricy. Highly recommended!"
